The Rite of Spring

Square section slab pot with paper resist decoration. Glazed earthenware.
I was drawing dancing figures and kept thinking about Stravinsky's ballet... 
The figures are cut from paper, quite roughly with scissors, so as not to be too "precious".
I am very happy with this piece - it has a good balance of form and decoration.
